This position is being offered in a Permanent Part-Time capacity (0.83FTE), 60 hours per fortnight.

Located in the hinterland of the Sunshine Coast, Beerwah State High School is a secondary education facility offering a quality education for years 7 to 12. Beerwah State High School has built a reputation as a safe, caring and supportive school and is recognised across the Sunshine Coast as a leader in secondary schooling, delivering success for all for over 30 years.

Step Into Your Next Chapter:

  • Assist in the ongoing delivery of the School Based Apprenticeship program and assist in managing business and industry partnerships to maximise opportunities for secondary students.
  • Establish and maintain effective networks and work collaboratively with business and industry groups to build strong and vibrant links that promote School Based Apprenticeships as a career pathway for students.
  • Support students, parents, and school staff with information and guidance related to School Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships, including placement processes and career pathway planning.
  • Coordinate and monitor student placements to ensure compliance with training requirements and maintain regular communication with employers, training organisations, and relevant stakeholders
