Immediate Start – Casual Health Care Worker (Flexible Hours)

Care For You at Home is seeking passionate Casual Health Care Workers to join our flexible Care Team. What is the purpose of this role?

The Casual Health Care Worker will support clients in their daily lives by assisting with personal care, household tasks, transportation, social activities, and respite. The role focuses on enhancing clients' independence and overall wellbeing, working closely with the care team to deliver services in line with individual care plans.

Your responsibilities:

• Deliver personal care, meal preparation, domestic assistance, and transport support
• Assist clients with daily living activities including showering, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation
• Support clients' social engagement and wellbeing
• Adhere to manual handling, infection control, and WHS guidelines
• Attend compulsory training and maintain mandatory certificates
• Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure high-quality client care

Skills and experience:

Essential:

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Home & Community Care or Disability), or Certificate III in Assistant in Nursing, or working towards completion

• Working with Children Check

• NDIS Worker Screening check
• Current driver's license and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively with effective communication skills.

Desirable:

• Experience in community or home care
• Experience supporting people with disabilities or age-related conditions
