Melbourne, Victoria, Australia Integrity Oversight Victoria (formerly Victorian Inspectorate) Full time $80,000 - $120,000 per year

At Integrity Oversight Victoria (IOV), our role includes strengthening integrity and public confidence in the Victorian public sector through robust oversight and good governance.

We're currently looking for a Senior Governance Officer who's ready to make an impact. If you thrive on variety, take pride in precision, and enjoy shaping how an organisation operates behind the scenes — this could be your next challenge.

You'll be part of a team that values curiosity, integrity and respect — where good governance isn't just a process, it's our purpose. You'll help shape how a special body operates and leave a lasting mark on Victoria's integrity system.

We offer a supportive hybrid working environment, opportunities for professional development, and the chance to contribute to meaningful public sector outcomes every day.

Your opportunity

Working closely with the General Manager, Corporate Services, you'll play a leading role in delivering a range of governance, compliance, and performance projects that underpin IOV's corporate maturity and accountability, including responding to an independent performance audit.

This is a role where what you do will truly matter — from driving governance projects and supporting our audit program to helping embed best-practice risk management across the agency.

About you

You're an experienced public sector professional who brings demonstrated experience in governance, project management and compliance frameworks, you build relationships that get things done, and you have a collaborative spirit and a genuine commitment to integrity, transparency and service excellence

Tertiary qualifications
in law, public policy, financial or business management (or equivalent experience) will be highly regarded.
