About the role:

The purpose of the Employment and Learning Content Coordinator role is to develop and maintain participant-facing content to support career and education readiness, personal and professional development for our participants. The position not only supports the development and delivery of virtual and in-person training sessions but also collaborates with internal teams to ensure consistency of messaging across platforms.

Hours: Part-time (0.6 FTE), 22.8 hours per week

Employment term: Fixed term, initially for one year with possibility to extend

Responsibilities:

This role sits within the Employment, Learning and Education (ELE) team and has the following responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain participant-facing content to support career development and education readiness (e.g., The Career and Education Hub, guides, templates, toolkits, webinars)
  • Support the development and delivery of virtual and in-person training sessions
  • Be the conduit between the Employment, Learning and Education Team and the Partnerships, Marketing and Fundraising teams to support newsletter content, social media, success stories, and grants etc.
  • Coordinate IBM/Udemy/Fortinet and Cisco individual learning plans and enrolments for the ELE team
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistency of messaging across platforms
  • Monitor content engagement and feedback to inform updates and improvements
  • Assist in social media and newsletter content development relating to education and employment themes
  • Maintain content calendar in coordination with the ELE team
  • Ensure accessibility and clarity of content for diverse veteran and family audiences

  • Self-motivated and driven with high-level organisational skills and strong ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience in a national not for profit organisation will be considered advantageous
  • A broad understanding of the ADF and the experience of veterans will be highly regarded
