STRATEGIC PROJECTS COORDINATOR

Community First Development is a First Nations' community development and research organisation that creates positive change in and with First Nations' communities. Community First Development is seeking to appoint a Strategic Projects Coordinator to support organisational efficiency, growth and innovation. Reporting to the Senior Impact and Strategy Manager, this position within the organisation's Impact and Strategy unit will undertake a diverse range of activities focused on strengthening and communicating the organisation's impact.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate strategic projects across the organisation, including research and evaluation activities.
- Develop reports and other written content that effectively communicate Community First Development's impact with a variety of audiences.
- Undertake activities that strengthen data quality and improve outcomes and reporting.
- Engage effectively with and provide support to other business units.
- Adhere to all workplace policies, including Workplace Health and Safety.
CORE CRITERIA
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to multi-task, prioritise work and meet deadlines.
- Effective written communication skills including experience with preparing reports, briefings, and other written content.
- Strong analytical skills including attention to detail.
- Emotional intelligence demonstrated by strong team and verbal communication skills and the ability to build and maintain productive relationships.
- Strong IT skills, including the ability to use Microsoft Office programs and data systems.
- Knowledge of community development principles and monitoring and evaluation concepts.
A formal qualification in social sciences, monitoring and evaluation, community development or similar is desirable.
