KalgoorlieBoulder, Australia Infrastructure Business Growth Full time $130,000 - $170,000 per year

Company Overview:

Our client is a leading contractor company that specialises in mining and earthmoving projects. Known for a strong safety culture, practical leadership and long-term client relationships, the business is stable, growing and values staff development and operational excellence. As they continue to expand their operations, they are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join their team in Kalgoorlie, WA.

Having worked with the leadership for more than 20 years, I can personally vouch for their integrity and commitment to safety and employee well-being.

Drive Financial Excellence in Mining - Join Us as Financial Controller

Ready to steer the financial direction of a fast-paced, high-performing mining contractor group? We're on the lookout for a strategic and hands-on
Financial Controller
(other titles you might be looking for are Management Accountant / Finance Manager / Advanced Bookkeeper) to guide our finance team and deliver the insights that keep our wheels turning and our business growing.

In this critical accountant guidance role, you'll be responsible for end-to-end financial management from compliance and reporting to budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow oversight, ensuring accurate, timely financial information drives operational decisions across the business.

This is a hands-on Financial Controller role based in Kalgoorlie. You'll be the senior finance owner responsible for bookkeeping, payroll oversight, month-end reporting, BAS/STP compliance and commercial support for operations and the workshop. We will consider a FIFO arrangement from Perth for the right candidate.

You'll guide and provide team leadership to a small, efficient accounts team and work closely with leadership, operations and workshop managers to deliver financial strategies that support performance on the office and on our sites. Your ability to analyse trends, manage risks, and guide commercial decisions will help strengthen our financial health and fuel sustainable growth.

This is your chance to bring your financial expertise into the engine room of a mining contractor that values precision, reliability, and results. If you're ready to roll up your sleeves and make a real impact in the mining industry, we want to hear from you.
