Are you ready to lead the strategic management of a $4.09 billion asset portfolio? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced leader to drive Council's asset lifecycle planning and financial sustainability.
In this pivotal role, you will:
- Oversee the full lifecycle of Council's assets, from planning and acquisition through to renewal and disposal.
- Ensure compliance with financial accounting standards, corporate timelines, and audit requirements.
- Deliver data-driven insights to support long-term financial planning and sustainable community outcomes.
- Lead and support a high-performing team, fostering collaboration, innovation, and a strong culture of accountability.
About youWe are seeking a strategic leader with proven expertise in asset lifecycle management and strong financial acumen. The ideal candidate will bring experience in developing and implementing asset management frameworks, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and audit requirements, and aligning asset planning with long-term financial and community priorities. Exceptional leadership, collaboration, and communication skills are essential to guide a high-performing team and influence decision-making across the organisation.
Key skills and experience include:
- Lead strategic asset lifecycle management across planning, acquisition, renewal, and disposal.
- Oversee financial stewardship of Council's asset portfolio in line with accounting standards.
- Ensure compliance with legislation, governance frameworks, and corporate timelines.
- Provide data-driven insights to support long-term financial planning and community outcomes.
- Build a high-performing team culture through strong leadership and collaboration.
