Arcq Talent are supporting a high-growth financial services scale-up that's migrating from legacy SQL/Power BI into Microsoft Fabric. They need a
Technical Business Analyst
who can bridge business and technical teams while keeping projects moving at pace.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and document requirements across Finance, Data, and Technology.
  • Dismantle legacy BI logic (SQL, Power BI, DAX, Power Query) and map to Fabric.
  • Support data migration and transformation activities.
  • Conduct gap analysis, process mapping, and build out data dictionaries.
  • Work closely with Finance stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable technical solutions.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Strong SQL (non-negotiable).
  • Experience with data migration projects (ETL/BI migrations).
  • Power BI/DAX/Power Query knowledge.
  • Requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-visibility scale-up environment.

Nice to Have:

  • Mortgage/lending domain experience.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Fabric / Azure / GCP.
