About the role

MSS Security is looking for Security Officers to work on site at the defence base in East Sale, offering a casual position. The position is primarily responsible for providing a security presence whilst remaining alert and focused. You will be part of an enthusiastic, committed and customer focused team. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all our customers, and you will build strong relationships with your internal stakeholders.

Your duties include but are not limited to:

  • Concierge / commercial building security
  • Access control and monitor CCTV
  • Respond professionally, courteously and promptly to all customer enquiries
  • Direct and escort visitors to site
  • Visitors sign in/induction and maintain key registers and issue keys
  • Conduct foot patrols internal and external

What are we looking for?

  • Certificate II in Security Operations
  • Security licence
  • Previous experience in a customer facing role
  • Experience in security operations (ideal, but not necessary)
  • Positive attitude, great communication skills, willingness to learn and adapt
  • Australian Citizenship required; Baseline clearance (or the ability to obtain)
