Outdoor Activity Venue Manager

Delta Force Paintball is looking for hardworking and enthusiastic venue managers in the Canberra area. We are looking for individuals who can manage a team that will deliver world class outdoor adventure activities and who will build a culture of excellence through training, innovation and effective leadership.

The initial training program for this role will include face-to-face training in Canberra from the physical paintball centre for the first three weeks, followed by face-to-face training from our Melbourne centre for the next five weeks. Flights and accommodation will be provided during your Melbourne-based training.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering paintball experiences to 150+ customers on a daily basis
  • Recruiting, training and retaining a highly functioning team of 10+ people
  • Growing the world's biggest paintball brand through exceptional customer service
  • Maintaining equipment and facilities to high minimum standards
  • Fulfilling the basic administration requirements of the venue
  • Bringing a true passion for excellence to the workplace every single day

Ideally you will:

  • Have experience managing a team  including rostering, training and administrative tasks
  • Have experience excelling in a sales-driven environment
  • Have a true passion for 'wowing the customer' and delivering an exemplary customer experience
  • Have a proven track record of working in a fast-paced, multifaceted business

What's on offer:

  • Minimum 30 hours per week with paid overtime.. Average across the year is 34 hours per week
  • $33 - $35 per hour (depending on experience) + super + generous monthly bonus structure
  • OTE ranging from $55,000 to $85,000 based on performance
  • Domestic and international travel opportunities available – we are specifically recruiting for people looking to work across Australia, New Zealand and Canada - with this initial opportunity based in Canberra
