We are seeking an experienced **Events Manager **to join our onsite team working for a global tech company in the Sydney CBD. This role is responsible for the successful coordination and event planning of functions, including initial enquiries, client liaison (internal and external) and dining operations whilst delivering the highest level of customer service and culinary excellence. This Monday to Friday corporate role is an exceptional opportunity to move your career to the next level.

**Key Duties**
- Consult with key stakeholders (internal and external) to plan, coordinate and manage events
- Facilitate the smooth running of events and functions across the 2 sites
- Work co-operatively with operations and kitchen teams in regard to handing over functions to ensure seamless delivery
- Conduct follow-up correspondence with clients and respond to feedback
- Perform administrative duties as and when required
- Develop functions and retail marketing collateral, & optimise procedures
- This role will be responsible for driving HSEQ on site

**The Person**
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in an Event Management role
- Experience in FOH, room set up, menu planning and cost control
- Understanding of budgets, invoicing and cogs around event activity
- Process driven & hands on leader
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Excellent time management and ability to prioritise tasks
- Proficiency in event management software and MS Office

**A valid and current national police check will be a requirement of this role**
