The Opportunity

If you are an up-and-coming Accountant with a passion for growth, this is an excellent opportunity for you to grow your career exponentially. You will work closely with the Senior Financial Accountant in a broad and dynamic finance function.

The Challenge

Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, you will be trained and mentored into being a key member of the Finance team.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Month end duties - reconciling bank accounts; reconciling WIP BS accounts; reconciling trial balances and posting month end accruals
  • Compliance - preparing GST/WHT/BAS returns; setting up new users on banking platforms; assisting with year end audit;
  • Credit cards - setting up and maintenance; adjusting; daily cash balance updates; cashflow management
  • Ownership of the Accounts Payable process - processing payments; reconciliations; maintaining supplier records
  • Accounts Receivable - maintaining the master file/database; managing customer invoices; following up on invoices
The Expertise
  • Ideally, you have recently started your Accounting career and have commenced your CA/CPA studies
  • Possibly, you have accounts experience in the media industry
  • Excellent university/academic results
  • Analytically strong with good attention for detail
  • Ability to work effectively under tight time frames
  • A go-getter; ready & capable to take on initiative and responsibility
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
