Night Vision Australia is hiring a full-time Accountant to join our dynamic team in Banksmeadow, Sydney (NSW), offering a competitive salary of $90,000 – $100,000 per year.
This role is a great opportunity for a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to take ownership of key financial functions and report directly to the CEO. You'll play a vital part in supporting our financial operations, including preparing statements, managing transactions, assisting with budgets, and ensuring compliance across the business. If you're passionate about accounting and have experience in the ecommerce, wholesale, or retail sectors, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial statements and management reports.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Maintain accurate records and reconciliations of financial accounts.
  • Preparation of budgets, forecasts, and tax compliance.
  • Collaborate with management to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations.
  • Provide general administrative and accounting support as needed.

Essential Criteria:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA or CA qualification (or working towards it)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Motivated with initiative to problem-solving and Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
