Description

The Assistant Director is an experienced Senior Educator who provides strong leadership support to the Centre Director in the day-to-day operations and successful running of the Centre. The Assistant Director works to support the team in the development and delivery of high-quality education and care, and actively mentors and develops the broader team. This role is to start in the new year and is to cover for a parental leave period. 

The Assistant Director is expected to, build positive, warm, fun and welcoming culture where our Green Leaves Commitments are embedded across all that we do You will use your masterful leadership skills to support the Centre Director in the day-to-day operations and successful running of the Centre, guide the team in the development and delivery of high-quality programs that inspire and nurture young minds, and actively mentor and develop the team around best practice.

Ideally, we'd love for you to hold:

A current ACECQA-approved Diploma or Bachelor qualificationA current State relevant Working with Children's CheckA current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and First Aid Certificates (or willing to obtain upon commencement)A current Child Protection Training (or willing to obtain upon commencement)Additional Child Protection Training, in line with section 162A of the Education and Care Services National Law and the Queensland Government. Completion of 1 of the following courses will ensure compliance; CHCPRT025, CHCPRT001, CHCPRT026, CHCPRT002 or CHCECE057 (or willingness to obtain before commencement)Previous experience as an Assistant Director or Lead EducatorKnowledge and experience with Qikkids and Storypark (or similar equivalent platforms)National Police ClearanceProda IDFood Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willing to obtain)
