We are currently looking for a:

Raging Waters Sydney - Administration Assistant

About the role:

As our Administration Assistant, you'll be the friendly face that keeps our office buzzing and organised. From welcoming guests at reception, to supporting the People & Culture team behind the scenes, you'll make sure everything flows smoothly.

Roles & Responsibilities:

 

Roles & Responsibilities

•    Be the admin superstar for the People & Culture team – keeping everything on track and tidy.

•    Be the face of reception – greeting visitors with a smile, managing the sign-in process, coordinating contractor inductions, and making sure deliveries are accepted and taken care of.

•    Support department heads with the little things that keep the park running – purchase orders, rosters, time punches, training paperwork and checklists.

•    Give Finance a hand with payments, collections and requisitions.

•    Manage incoming calls – whether that's booking interviews, wellbeing check-ins or just pointing someone in the right direction.

•    Back up the Team Member Support crew – from canteen to uniform collection. You'll learn the ropes and jump in when needed.

•    Keep stock in check – uniforms, supplies, canteen items and office gear. Research the best deals while keeping quality in mind.

•    Play a key role in onboarding and training – making sure new 'Ragers' feel supported and valued right from day one.

•    Pull together reports when needed – quick, accurate and helpful.

•    Be that friendly face and reliable helper who keeps the team moving forward.

•    Jump in on ad-hoc admin tasks – because no two days are ever the same

•    To carry out all duties and responsibilities as assigned by the People & Culture Director or member of the Management Team.

Workplace Health & Safety (WHS):

•    Follow and comply with Work Health Safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.

•    Correctly use all safety and personal protective equipment

•    Act as a role model by demonstrating safe work behaviours.

•    Report WHS incidents, injuries and safety activities to your direct Manager and First Aid at the time it occurs.

•    Promote proactive hazard/ near miss reporting. Report any hazards or near-miss incidents to your direct Manager and the People & Culture Director.

•    Attend Work Group Meetings to discuss and promote safety.

•    Liaise with Return-to-Work Coordinator to assist injured team members returning to work.

Requirements
Education:
Desirable


•    A studying or recent graduate in business administration or a related field
Languages:  Fluent English

Skills: 

•    Great organisational skills (and you love things neat and tidy).

•    Eye for detail – you spot things others might miss.

•    Clear and friendly communication, both spoken and written.

•    Able to work on your own and keep things moving.

•    Confident using Microsoft Office.
 

Experience: 

•    Previous admin or reception experience (or similar) is a bonus.

•    Studying or recently graduated in business admin? Even better

Relationships
Internal:  General Manager / Facilities / Finance / Food & Beverage / Guest Experience/ Operations / People & Culture / Retail / Sales & Marketing.

External:  Contractors / Suppliers / Business Partners.

•    Ability to work flexible working hours including but not limited to weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
