About the role

This full-time Financial Administrator/Bookkeeper position at Vigil Antislip Pty. Ltd. is based in Bibra Lake, WA 6163. You will play a vital role in managing the financial operations and associated functions for this growing company.

What you'll be doing

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, cashflow management and weekly payroll processing

Preparing monthly financial reports and statements

Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards and tax regulations

Preparation and timely lodgment of Superannuation, Payroll Tax and BAS

Financial management of US Operations (Dallas)

Onboard new employees and maintain employee files

Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory authorities for employees

Liaising with external accountant

Provide backup to freight controller role

Providing support to the Managing Director on financial matters

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar bookkeeping or financial controller role, preferably in a small to medium-sized business

Strong working knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and software

Proficiency in MYOB accounting software is essential for this position

Proficiency with Microsoft products, especially excel

Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills

Proficient in financial reporting, data analysis, and problem-solving

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Cert 4 in Accounting & Bookkeeping preferred
