Job Title: Solicitor (2+ Years PAE) – Family Law

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in all aspects of family law, including divorce, separation, property settlements, child custody and access, spousal maintenance, and family violence matters.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents such as consent orders, parenting plans, financial agreements, and court applications.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to develop effective case strategies and advise clients on their rights and obligations.
  • Represent clients in various forums, including mediation, conciliation, and court proceedings.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear and empathetic advice while managing expectations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files and case management records.
  • Collaborate with barristers, experts, and other professionals as required.
  • Stay abreast of current legislation, case law, and best practices in family law.

Skills & Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years Post Admission Experience (PAE) with a demonstrable track record in family law.
  • Proven ability to manage a diverse caseload independently and efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to maintain client relationships and good sense of business development.
  • Bilingual skills (Mandarin or Cantonese preferred)
