About the role

Cityscapes Pools are seeking an experienced Swimming Pool Technician to join our team ' based in South Brisbane, Queensland. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for the installation of plumbing, pool equipment, maintenance and repair of residential swimming pools.

What you'll be doing

  • Running primary and secondary plumbing on our concrete pools
  • Installing new swimming pool equipment, including pumps, filters, chlorination, pool heating and automation systems.
  • Working with our construction team preparing pool shells for interior finishes
  • Diagnosing and repairing issues with pool equipment, such as pumps, filters, and automation systems, working with our equipment suppliers.
  • Providing excellent customer service and managing client relationships
  • Ensuring all work is completed in compliance with relevant safety and industry standards
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all work performed
  • Other duties as directed within the construction team

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Swimming Pool Technician or similar role
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of swimming pool equipment and systems
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot pool-related issues
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Commitment to safety and attention to detail
  • Reliable, presentable, punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Relevant trade qualifications or certifications would be an advantage
