Your day at NTT DATA

The Senior Applications Consultant/ Implementation Specialist is an advanced level expert across more than one enterprise application such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, etc.

This role is responsible for testing and troubleshooting the functionality of the installed enterprise applications and/or systems by identifying and documenting technical issues to be escalated to product and system integration teams for resolution.

This role independently plans, designs and implements the more complex assigned enterprise applications and/or systems and also performs most of the tasks defined by the project, gathering facts, analyzing client requirements and designing solutions that demonstrate the functionality to support the findings.

This role is responsible for managing small engagements or a portion of a large engagement when required.

Key responsibilities:

• Maintains, improves and shares knowledge gained on technical or functional skills, consulting skills and business experience with team on projects, managed services and internally.
• Performs project-defined tasks and drives issues to closure.
• Reviews facts and analyses client business requirements, including process.
• Designs the solution and demonstrate functional to support the findings.
• Delivers timely and quality consulting to the client.
• Performs all documentation and administrative tasks in line with the PMO templates and standards.
• Prepares business process procedures, test scenarios, end-user documentation and user manuals.
• Highlights potential project or solution risks and issues to team leads/project management.
• Proactively supports clients with audit requirements and facilitates testing and sign-off workshops.
• Facilitates meetings/ task groups, tracking and influencing task group progress and project delivery as well as delivering progress reports.
• Undertakes regular reviews of project activities for the assigned areas.
• Reviews process design and facilitates configuration workshops with the client.
• Prepares test scenarios related to the business processes and complete functional testing, application configuration and data migration duties.
• Tests and troubleshoots functionality of installed systems.

Academic qualifications and certifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computer Science or related field.
• Enterprise application-specific certifications preferred.
• Certification in one functional area of application.

Required experience:

• Advanced Enterprise Applications Consultant experience in one or more applications (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, etc.).
• Advanced experience working across project lifecycles from scoping to post go-live.
• Advanced demonstrated experienced in providing technical guidance for the planning, design implementation of enterprise applications.
• Advanced client engagement experience.
