Mechanical Service Technician

Our Melbourne subsidiary is seeking a motivated Mechanical Service Technician to join our site-based residential service team. This hands-on role involves maintaining and servicing specialised equipment in secure environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on heavy-duty machines and systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults on equipment such as transfer vehicles, powered roller decks, scissor lifts, and hoists.
  • Support your team to ensure maximum system availability for our customer.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and site processes.
  • Read and interpret mechanical as-built/shop drawings to ensure accurate and safe maintenance of machines.

Key Requirements

  • Trade qualification as a Fitter or equivalent hands-on experience with hydraulics and mechanically driven systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to pass a Police Check (for ASIC Card eligibility).
  • Ability to pass a clear Drug & Alcohol Test.

  • Valid driver's licence.
  • First Aid certification (desirable).
  • Physically fit for a demanding role.
  • Tickets in Working at Heights, EWP, Forklift, or Confined Space (advantageous).
