The Role

We are currently recruiting a HR Advisor to join a small HR team. The role will support Vertech and its sister companies, offering exposure to a wide range of HR functions and the chance to contribute to impactful HR projects and business outcomes.

This operational role is focused on providing expert advice across core HR functions including recruitment, compliance, employee relations, and enterprise bargaining.

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide consistent and compliant HR advice to line managers and employees
  • Advising on employee relations, performance management, and compliance
  • Demonstrated experience conducting workplace investigations and managing disciplinary processes
  • Supporting HRIS implementation and training
  • Updating and reviewing HR policies and procedures, preparing HR reports, and driving employee engagement activities
  • Assisting with Enterprise Agreement bargaining processes
  • Supporting HR projects
  • Providing support to the HR Manager and Senior HR Advisor

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years' generalist HR experience
  • Strong understanding of the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards, and other relevant legislation
  • Proven experience advising on employee relations, compliance, and enterprise bargaining
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and recruitment platforms
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion
  • Employment Hero experience (desirable).
