Recruitment Revolution is excited to be working with a national engineering  company who provide end to end engineering solutions for the mining, water, defense and transport industries. Their key strength lies in being able to successfully engineer, manufacture and deliver large-scale national projects to a very high standard.

Due to successfully winning several large engineering projects, our client has an immediate need for an experienced Project Manager with construction experience focused on the fit out of modular projects including state of the art switchrooms.

You will oversee construction projects from planning to delivery, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This is a hands-on role with opportunities to influence project outcomes and mentor a highly skilled team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of resource management, including recruitment, performance reviews, training and development and succession planning, as well as future resource forecasting.
  • Maintain work planning schedules and project plans, including using plannings tools such as Microsoft Excel and Project.
  • Manage all material requisition, including liaising with suppliers.
  • Develop and implement a wide range of installation methodologies and safe work method statements.
  • Site preparations to standardise construction methods.
  • Manage budget reporting and regular project timeline updates with Project Managers.
  • Interpret and review documents, electrical, construction schematics and site plans to determine scope of works.
  • Liaise with a variety of stakeholders, including customers, suppliers and internal management on job optimisation and continuous improvement.
  • Manage pre and post job paperwork, including electrical and structural test reports and certificates of compliance

General Requirement

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Project Manager or Senior Site Supervisor.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Projects (desirable).
  • Strong communication, stakeholder, and contractor management skills.
  • Hands-on leadership style with a focus on quality and safety.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of NCC, codes, and industry best practice.
