Who we are

PIMS Group is an experienced underground mining contractor specialising in underground coal projects. PIMS excel by delivering quality people, equipment and innovative solutions to our business partners. About the Role

Play a critical role in the strategic growth and development of this mining operation in the Upper Hunter Region. The successful candidate will provide leadership and guidance for the PIMS Team across all project aspects. The performance of this candidate is critical to the project success. The minimum skills and expectations for this role are but not limited to:

  • Evidence of proven success in similar project management role;
  • Undermanagers Certificate of Competency (preferred);
  • Experience in Bord and Pillar Methods are advantageous;
  • Experience in implementing safety management system initiatives;
  • Outstanding leadership and people management skills;
  • Developed planning, budgeting and reporting skills;
  • The ability to utilise investigative and audit tools and processes;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
