We're a brand-new, super cool café opening soon in the heart of Richmond — known for amazing coffee, toasties, and great vibes. We're looking for a creative, social-media-savvy person to help us build our online presence and make Mr.Dot the most talked-about café in Melbourne.

About the Role

This is a part-time, flexible role — perfect for a uni student who loves content creation and café culture. You'll spend around 4 hours a week in-store taking photos and filming short videos, and then you'll be responsible for creating and posting engaging content 6 times per week across Instagram and TikTok.

What You'll Do

  • Capture high-quality photos and videos that show off the café's food, drinks, design, and atmosphere
  • Plan and create social media posts, reels, and stories that fit our brand
  • Come up with creative content ideas, campaigns, and collaborations
  • Develop a simple monthly social media plan and posting schedule
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments, and help grow our community
  • Report on growth and engagement each month

What We're Looking For

  • A creative eye and strong understanding of social media trends
  • Experience filming and editing short-form content (Instagram Reels, TikTok, etc.)
  • Confident using Canva, CapCut, or similar editing tools
  • Someone who loves hospitality, design, and café culture
  • Self-motivated and reliable — we want someone who takes ownership of the page
