The Opportunity

We're looking for a reliable Forklift Operator / Yard Person to join our busy Meadowbrook branch. This is a hands-on role where you'll be part of a supportive team, keeping our yard safe, organised, and running smoothly. If you enjoy working outdoors, operating forklifts, and being part of a team that values safety and efficiency, this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely pick, pack, and load orders for dispatch.
  • Operate forklifts to move, load, and unload timber and building products.
  • Check paperwork and stock accuracy, and report any discrepancies.
  • Keep the yard safe, organised, and compliant with WHS standards.
  • Assist customers and drivers in a professional and friendly manner.

What You'll Need

  • A current forklift licence (essential).
  • Previous warehousing or yard experience (timber/building industry experience highly regarded).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
  • Physically fit and able to handle manual lifting as required.
  • Reliable, team-oriented, and safety-focused.
