About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to nurture and grow a portfolio of National key contracted corporate accounts, with a strong focus on customers in the hospitality and hotel sectors. This role is pivotal in retaining and expanding our presence within major hotel groups, ensuring exceptional service delivery, and uncovering growth opportunities aligned with brand standards and business objectives.
Specifically you will:
- Nurture and retain existing business while identifying growth opportunities within a portfolio of contracted clients.
- Understand and implement individual hotel group brand standards in all product and service interactions.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Operations, Customer Service) to ensure seamless client experiences and fulfilment.
- Identify opportunities for growth and devise strategies to capture additional market share.
- Provide timely and accurate forecasts and clear visibility on sales and revenue performance by actively managing your pipeline of opportunities and weekly sales forecasts.
- Stay informed on competitor activity and industry trends. Share market intelligence with the broader sales team to shape strategic direction and maintain a competitive edge.
About You:
You are customer obsessed with a growth mindset. As a seasoned sales professional within a B2B sales or wholesale environment you will have sound commercial acumen.
- 3-5 years' experience in account management, ideally within the hospitality, hotel supply, or commercial textiles sectors.
- Prior experience working with major hotel groups highly regarded.
- Solid understanding of sales budgets, margins and inventory management.
- Strong understanding of hospitality brand standards, procurement practices, and client service expectations.
- Familiarity with Top of Bed linen or similar product categories is advantageous, but not essential.
- Ability to influence and develop business within existing accounts.
- Highly developed communication and negotiation skills.
