SunRice was built by the Australian rice industry over many decades and today is one of Australia's leading branded food exporters, with approximately 2,000 employees and operations in 11 countries.SunRice is a great place to work, providing a real opportunity for passionate people to make a difference.About the roleFantastic permanent opportunity for a driven and motivated National Account Manager - Ethnic Wholesale/Retail to join the SunRice Group in Melbourne or Sydney. As a vital member of our broader Foodservice sales team, you'll play a central role in driving growth by managing Key Accounts, Distributors, and Retail customers to achieve sales and margin targets. You'll collaborate closely with our Marketing team to drive exciting new product offerings for the channel and have the opportunity to define the future in this strategic segment, through identifying how we win in market and achieve our long term ambitionsThis role also offers the opportunity to cultivate (existing) and identify (new) business opportunities within the Australian Ethnic Wholesale and Retail landscape, supporting our ambition of making SunRice the most well distributed rice brand in the marketplace.Key responsibilities includeKey Account Management: manage the day-to-day requirements of existing Key Account customers, through joint collaboration and a partnership philosophy, growing sales in existing customer base.New Business Development: identify new customers aligned with the Ethnic go to market strategy, building and implementing plans to grow SunRice market share in this segment.Executional Excellence: support the development of a robust pipeline of customer led ideas for in market implementation and collaborate with the marketing teams to ensure timely delivery.Define the market: Using your previously acquired skill set, define how SunRice can win in a significantly growing market, through insight lead ideas that will resonate with key strategic partners and customersAbout YouYou bring an entrepreneurial mindset backed by strong commercial acumen and sharp negotiation skills. Thriving in dynamic team environments, you naturally build meaningful relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and across all levels of the business. Your ability to foster strong customer connections sets you apart.You will also haveDegree qualified in Business / Marketing related discipline.Detailed understanding of the Foodservice industry, specifically the market dynamics / structure and the leading participants within the Ethnic Wholesale/Retail segmentKnowledge of QSR channel (highly desirable).Proven experience in managing full P&L; delivering results against budget & forecast in Volume, NSV, GP and Trade Spend.Demonstrate track record of sales success and growing customer base through acquisition of new customers/business.Ability to identify new product opportunities and bring these to market, including previous exposure to NPD process with strong understanding of key elements required for successful product launches.Experience managing field teams.Key account management background.Advanced Excel skills preferable.Previous experience with SAP and BI preferable.
