We are looking for people who are passionate about their
community and who want to make a difference to the lives of older
West Australians. Bethanie Community provides a wide variety of
services to clients covering day to day living needs in their own
homes including personal care, domestic and gardening services,
respite services and social support in Geraldton, Perth and in the
South West.  You will join a dedicated team of people who are
passionate about getting to know the people they care for. This
role will feed your soul.

We are seeking enthusiastic, energetic and highly flexible
individuals to join our Bethanie Community South Metro team as a
part- time Qualified Support Worker supporting
areas within the South West (Bunbury)
region.

Whilst you use your own car we offer a travel allowance
of $0.92 per kilometre.

To be considered for this role you will be available to
work:

  • Permanent part time (minimum 20 hours per week
    guaranteed)
  • Working shifts between the hours of 8:00am – 3:00pm
    across Monday to Friday.

About the role:

  • Professionally deliver a variety of services (including
    community outings, food, leisure, supporting hobbies and
    interests)
  • All personal care tasks and outcomes are met and documented
    appropriately
  • Provide respect and compassion to clients
  • Support customer with transport to appointments
  • Provide social support to customers spending time doing the
    things they love

About you:

  • Previous experience within an Aged Care, or Community Care
    environment desired
  • Cert 3 in Individual Support, Aged Care or Disability
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a
    team
  • Ability to ensure safety and wellbeing of clients are
    maintained
  • Drivers licence, and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Current Police Clearance, or willingness to apply for
    one
  • Willing to obtain required vaccinations – 1x covid
    and annual flu vaccination
