About JSW

JSW Training & Community Services is a registered NDIS provider committed to empowering individuals through inclusive, person-centred support. As we continue to grow, we're expanding our programs and activities — making this role more diverse, engaging, and rewarding than ever.

We specialise in supporting participants with NDIS funding across the following areas:

  • Access to community, social & recreational activities

  • Capacity building in life skills & employment

  • School Leaver Employment Support (SLES)

  • Development of daily living skills

  • Assistance with daily living

  • Respite services

About the Role

As a Community Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in helping participants achieve their goals and build meaningful connections. Your day might include:

  • Supporting someone to attend a local event

  • Exploring job interests through volunteering or work trials

  • Teaching public transport navigation

  • Facilitating social inclusion and confidence-building activities

No two days are the same — and that's what makes it so rewarding.

We have opportunities across the South West and are seeking staff with availability across weekdays, weekends, and evenings.

Essential Criteria

  • Ability to build rapport and engage meaningfully

  • Capacity to support individuals in achieving personal goals

  • Confidence using technology for notes and admin tasks

  • Valid WA driver's licence and reliable vehicle

  • Working With Children Check

  • NDIS Worker Screening Card

  • Recent National Police Check

  • First Aid Certificate

  • Access to a smartphone (data allowance provided)

Desirable Criteria

  • Cert III in Community Services, Disability, Individual Support or related field

  • Experience in the Disability Employment Sector

  • Medication administration competence
