The Opportunity
Due to our ongoing growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced and passionate Construction Trainers & Assessors to Deliver the following unit of competency ONLY,
- CPCCWHS2001 Apply WHS requirements, policies and procedures in the construction industry
- CPCCCM2008 Erect and dismantle restricted height scaffolding
- CPCCCM2012 Work safely at heights
SAI is looking following attributes in the trainers profile. Will be paid hourly wages on invoice or can pay a casual rate on TFN.
- One Trainer who holds all three Unit of Competencies (preferred, not mandatory)
- MUST hold TAE40122 Cert IV in TAE or equivalent.
- Must be able to provide evidence of Industry currency and PDs.
- Units will be delivered during weekdays and some weekends on site in East Cannington.
- This is a contract position and work is available for a full week or 2 full weeks during each term (every 3 months)
- Trainer/Assessor must be willing to commit an ongoing arrangement.
- Trainer/Assessment to hold CPC Certificate III in Carpentry (not mandatory)
- Must be able to complete all marking for the units delivered (WFH within 2 weeks of training delivery)
The main responsibilities of this role are as follows:
- Using our LMS platform to deliver digital content while embedding your own unique/industry-relevant experiences to enrich the learning environment.
- Marking students' assessments and providing quality feedback.
- Arranging and conducting WBT visits.
- Ensuring up-to-date industry currency.
- Complying with industry-specific legislations and the requirements of the VET Quality Framework applicable to the qualification being delivered.
- Accurately recording, tracking, and reporting students' attendance, results, and unit outcomes.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:
- Willing to do TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Must have relevant qualifications at the level of teaching
- Current industry skills/experience in relevant industry
- Ability to follow RTO policies & procedures
- Excellent computer literacy (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Highly organised and strong time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
