About youWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join our head office team. Experience in a similar role is highly regarded, but full training will be provided to the right candidate.
This is a full-time position, ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, has strong organisational skills, and is ready to contribute to a supportive and professional team.
An immediate start is preferred.
To be successful in this role you will need:- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced computer skills – especially Excel/Wageasy/Xero
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good time management and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of payroll processes and confidentiality
- Processing weekly payroll for multiple venues
- Maintaining employee records and timesheets
- Handling payroll queries from staff
- Ensuring compliance with relevant awards and legislation
- Liaising with venue managers and HR
- Assisting with superannuation, PAYG, and other payroll-related reporting
You will report directly to the Office / Accounts Manager and work closely with our HR and finance teams.
