About you

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join our head office team. Experience in a similar role is highly regarded, but full training will be provided to the right candidate.

This is a full-time position, ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, has strong organisational skills, and is ready to contribute to a supportive and professional team.

An immediate start is preferred.

To be successful in this role you will need:
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced computer skills – especially Excel/Wageasy/Xero
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good time management and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of payroll processes and confidentiality
Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
  • Processing weekly payroll for multiple venues
  • Maintaining employee records and timesheets
  • Handling payroll queries from staff
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant awards and legislation
  • Liaising with venue managers and HR
  • Assisting with superannuation, PAYG, and other payroll-related reporting

You will report directly to the Office / Accounts Manager and work closely with our HR and finance teams.
