The Role

Based at our Crows Nest office, you'll provide practical, evidence-based HSEQ support across our Defence, education, and commercial projects. This is a hands-on role working closely with site leaders and stakeholders to drive our safety and continuous improvement culture.

Your Day-to-Day May Include:

  • Supporting site teams to implement and maintain Baseline's Integrated HSEQ Management System
  • Assisting with project mobilisation, risk assessment governance, on-site inspections, and training
  • Acting as the primary escalation point for site teams on safety and quality matters
  • Managing HSEQ system requirements, evaluating effectiveness, and driving improvements
  • Working with the HSEQ Manager to enhance system usability for site teams
  • Supporting incident reporting, management, and investigations
  • Participating in HSEQ and toolbox meetings, sharing safety knowledge and insights
What You'll Bring:
  • 5+ years' experience in health and safety for construction (new build or refurb/fit-out)
  • Experience in conducting internal audits to ISO certification, and facilitating ISO and OFSC audits (Lead Auditor training highly regarded)
  • Ability to manage multiple sites and project stages across different locations
  • Knowledge of Hammertech (or similar safety systems), and the Microsoft Suite including Power Apps/Power BI
  • Passion for continuous improvement and developing safety strategies
  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Willingness to travel to regional and remote sites as required
  • Cert IV or Bachelor's Degree in WHS
  • Cert IV in Training and Assessment, and proven ability to deliver training to a wide range of stakeholders
  • Construction General Induction (White Card)
