With your strong production estimating skills and experience, you will be responsible for effectively producing accurate, cost competitive and timely production estimates and the producing of Tenders for a range of projects.

Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Preparing production estimates, pricing and scope management in line with regulatory and Company standards that meet the client requirements.
  • Purchase ordering of materials and equipment.
  • Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors as required.
  • Preparing and submitting tenders.
  • Maintenance of the estimating database to ensure accuracy and currency.
  • Issuing of Job Purchase Orders, Variation Orders and Job Orders.
  • Preparing schedules, Bills of Quantities and documentation.
To be considered for this role, you should possess the following skills and attributes:
  • Tertiary Qualifications in building, would be an advantage but not essential
  • Minimum 3 years' production estimating experience with a project home builder.
  • Experience in the use of estimation software packages such as Timberline and/or Databuild.
  • Have a proactive, hands-on and creative approach to all aspects of the role meeting Company and Client expectations.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal), negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, juggle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
