According to Specified project requirements, Sure Projects Australia will determine the most appropriate membrane product from a variety of well-known market leading suppliers. Membrane types range from multi-layer bitumen torch on systems, to liquid systems applied with a roller or sprayed systems that can be touch dry in less than 30 seconds. Sure Projects Australia ensures a productive and efficient application rate of up to 1000m² on a daily basis. According to the project scope, with our expertise and deep knowledge of the industry, the most appropriate and correct selection of waterproofing method and type of membrane ensuring a durable and sustainable finished product satisfying the client's design requirements.

Qualifications & experience

  • 2+ years' experience in construction estimating
  • Skill Level: 2 Required
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, applied science, civil engineering or related field (Optional)
  • Able to read architectural plans and develop cost estimates
  • Strong understanding of residential construction processes
  • Proficiency with MS Office and Cubit
  • Able to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
  • Impeccable problem-solving skills

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Prepares and delivers estimates and cost plans for construction projects up to the tender settlement stage.
  • Project meeting between key stakeholders, builder, planners and architects
  • Review and evaluate cost estimates
  • Communicate with trade partners and team members regarding new and current projects
  • Prepare estimates and purchase orders in detail for all products
  • Ensure timely completion of estimates Review other parameters involved in the job projects to identify key risks
  • Understand the scope of work to bid
  • Manage bid pricing from all vendors Review the products offered as alternatives to ensure consistent specs
  • Prepare cost analysis
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with vendors and subcontractors

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
