Role Description

This is a full-time role for a CabMaster Designer/Drafter Cabinet Maker, located on-site in Gladstone Park, VIC. The role involves:

  • Collaborating with clients to understand their design requirements and preferences
  • Producing detailed 3D Cab Master drawings
  • Preparing accurate cost estimates and quotations for client projects
  • Liaising with the production team to ensure smooth project implementation
  • Providing excellent customer service and project management throughout the design and delivery process
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, materials and techniques
  • Create 3D renders for client approval
  • Complete order forms for purchases
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of design processes and workflows

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a cabinet making design and estimating role
  • Proficiency in using Cab master software for creating detailed 3D designs
  • Strong technical skills in cabinet construction, materials and finishes
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Relevant trade qualifications or a background in carpentry and joinery
