Café Manager

Citron Bayside (Daytime Only)

We're looking for a hands-on Café Manager to lead our team at Citron Bayside. If you thrive on the floor, love connecting with guests, and know how to run a smooth and buzzing café, this role is for you.

About Us

The Venzin Group is behind some of Brisbane's most loved cafés and restaurants, including Pawpaw Café, Darvella Patisserie, Monocle Coffee, and Citron Bayside. We're a family-run hospitality group known for fresh food, great coffee, and a warm, community-driven culture.

At Citron Bayside, we're looking for a manager who's ready for a sea change – someone who wants to trade late nights for sunshine, lead a passionate team, and enjoy the lifestyle of Brisbane's beautiful Bayside.

About the Role

  • Daytime hours only – no nights
  • Lead and motivate a passionate front-of-house team.
  • Oversee daily café operations with a strong focus on customer experience.
  • Manage rostering, stock control, and wage budgets.
  • Barista skills are a bonus but not essential – what matters most is leadership on the floor.
  • Work closely with owners and team leaders to drive growth and efficiency.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years' experience managing a café or similar venue.
  • Proven ability to lead, inspire, and train a team.
  • Strong organisational and people skills.
  • Available to work Saturdays and Sundays.
  • Most importantly – a genuine love of hospitality and being on the floor with your team.
  • Australian work rights are required for this position.
