The Key Employer Relationship Manager's key responsibility is to achieve ongoing sustainable growth for the Fund through employer, and stakeholder channels within geographic territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support growth for the fund through proactive visitation and support for the fund employer experience proposition.
  • Relationship building activity within employer and stakeholder channels.
  • Attract new opportunities and create advocacy within existing relationships.
  • Scale and coverage of the employer and stakeholder channel within a national team. Develop solution focused, data led engagement plans, appropriate channel campaigns including workplace education delivery within an assigned  territory.
  • Accountability for portfolio member density growth.
  • Develop, plan and implement scalable member and prospective member service/education activities towards growth, member satisfaction and advocacy.
  • Contributing to toolkit creation and executing solutions in line with business unit growth and retention ambitions.

Qualifications

  • RG146 (mandatory) – with annual refresher (or commitment to become accredited within 6 months of employment).
  • BA of Business, Marketing or related field (Desired) or minimum 5years relevant industry experience within Superannuation or Financial Advice (mandatory).

Desired skills & experience:

  • Solid financial services experience with at least 5 years industry experience. Ideally in superannuation, with strong working knowledge of multi-employer or industry funds.
  • Previous experience in a Relationship Management, Business Development or similar across a dedicated territory.
  • High level relationship management, communication (both written and verbal) negotiation and formal presentation skills.
  • Experience in managing the development of service plans and delivery of agreed programs.
  • Proven ability to generate new business leads and deliver key growth and retention outcomes.
  • Awareness of superannuation benefit design, insurance arrangements, legislation and financial planning industry.
  • Advanced IT skills, able to efficiently and effectively use all Microsoft Office programs and business specific software, continually upskill on software required to perform role.
