The
Business Development & Partnerships Manager
will take the lead on expanding market reach, cultivating new partnerships, and building enduring relationships that create value for both clients and communities. You'll have an established brand, executive support, and a defined target market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver growth strategies that drive sustainable revenue and deepen client engagement.
  • Build trusted relationships across government, industry, and community sectors.
  • Translate client needs into meaningful proposals, tenders, and partnership opportunities.
  • Represent the organisation at key industry events, building visibility and influence.
  • Collaborate internally to align business development with marketing and service delivery.
  • Monitor results and apply insights to continually enhance performance and impact.

About You

You are an engaging communicator with a natural ability to influence, connect, and inspire confidence. You thrive on collaboration, are commercially savvy, and care deeply about creating value. Both for clients and the broader community.

You'll bring a balance of strategic thinking, business acumen, and emotional intelligence. Able to see the big picture while executing with precision and integrity.

You ideally demonstrate:

  • Proven success in B2B or B2G sales, partnerships, or business development roles.
  • Experience developing and converting opportunities in service-based or technical sectors.
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • A track record of achieving revenue growth while building long-term relationships.
  • A genuine interest in purpose-driven work and values-based organisations.

Desirable:

  • Tertiary qualifications in business, marketing, health, or human services.
  • Experience in certification, quality management, or compliance environments.
