About the role
Join the dynamic Iris Hotel Group as a Senior Duty Manager in Manly, NSW 2095. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and supporting the leadership team.
What you'll be doing
- Manage the Venue's Bar, Bistro, Kitchen & Gaming departments to ensure efficient and high-quality service delivery
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve guest queries and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Oversee the management of staff, including scheduling, training, and performance reviews
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations
- Assist with the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures
- Collaborate with the management team to drive continuous improvement and innovation
- Manage the hotel's inventory, budgets, and financial reporting as required
What we're looking for
- Extensive experience in a senior duty management or similar role within the hospitality industry
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Thorough understanding of hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, and food and beverage
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and driving team performance
- Proficiency in using hotel management software and other relevant technologies
- Relevant qualifications in hospitality management or a related field
