About the role

Join the dynamic Iris Hotel Group as a Senior Duty Manager in Manly, NSW 2095. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and supporting the leadership team.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage the Venue's Bar, Bistro, Kitchen & Gaming departments to ensure efficient and high-quality service delivery
  • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve guest queries and complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Oversee the management of staff, including scheduling, training, and performance reviews
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations
  • Assist with the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with the management team to drive continuous improvement and innovation
  • Manage the hotel's inventory, budgets, and financial reporting as required

What we're looking for

  • Extensive experience in a senior duty management or similar role within the hospitality industry
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Thorough understanding of hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, and food and beverage
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and driving team performance
  • Proficiency in using hotel management software and other relevant technologies
  • Relevant qualifications in hospitality management or a related field
