**About the Centre**

Pascoe Vale Outdoor Pool and Coburg Olympic Swimming Pool are part of Active Merri-bek, owned by the City of Merri-bek and run by YMCA Victoria. These two great locations are community hubs with everything needed to cool off on a hot day, hone diving skills, or simply swim laps.

**About the role**

As a Duty Manager at Coburg Olympic Swimming Pool or Pascoe Vale Outdoor Pool you will have delegated authority of the Centre Manager, and will maintain a broad knowledge of centre operations and services whilst at the same time managing a range of centre functions whilst on shift which may include;
- Maintaining a focus on ‘Big Picture’ issues Centre wide
- Maintain a working knowledge and understanding of Centre’s Emergency Action Plan
- Working autonomously as well as being an active leader

This is a casual position and the hourly rate is $39.59 + super.

**About you**

**Essential Qualifications**
- Aquatic Pool Lifeguard Certificate
- HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
- HLTAID011 Provide First Aid

**Other Desired Qualifications or Knowledge**
- Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety Legislation is an advantage
- Previous experience in a similar facility in a supervisory role is desirable
