About the business/role/team
This site-based role in Northwest Sydney will be part of the NSW team within the Bank's Workplace Department with responsibility for managing critical infrastructure, facilities operations and workplace experience to ensure operational availability, safety, sustainability and effectiveness of the Bank's physical assets.
About the role
This role will report to the Manager Facilities NSW/ACT and have responsibility for the Bank owned Northwest Sydney Facility.
The role is responsible for infrastructure management, sustainability, property and facilities management and workplace experience services. You will have staff directly reporting to you, along with others responsible for critical infrastructure.
About you
Relevant experience in facilities management in a corporate and/or public sector environment, including working in Data Centres, with interface to security and workplace services
Demonstrated experience in managing external vendors to ensure value for money in meeting contract obligations and service level expectations
Experience in leadership of teams in different locations, motivating team members to achieve effective operational delivery
Ability to identify and mitigate risks, and demonstrate awareness of the impact on operations
Demonstrated ability to build trust and confidence through engagement of internal and external stakeholders
