Who we are

For 27 years, Flood Emergency Services (FES) has been delivering fast, reliable, and affordable water damage restoration to Australian homes and businesses. We provide a 24x7x365 service and will be on-site in 60-90 minutes to help our clients mitigate the impact of water damage. Our technicians and project managers are IICRC qualified, and we provide compliance certificates on job completion to give our clients assurance that their premises are safe and that water damage has been addressed.

The Role

We are seeking a highly experienced SEO Specialist to join our team on the Gold Coast. You will be responsible for driving organic growth and ensuring our business is easily found by those who need us most.

This role will oversee all aspects of SEO, including site optimisation, content strategy, and local search visibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage group-wide SEO strategy across multiple companies and websites
  • Optimise on-page and off-page performance to increase search rankings and visibility
  • Oversee Google My Business listings to ensure accuracy and maximum local exposure
  • Monitor competitor activity and industry trends
  • Analyse website traffic, call volumes, and conversions to profile customer acquisition cost (CAC) and ROI
  • Generate regular reports on organic search performance by market and segment

Mandatory Criteria

  • Minimum 5 years experience in SEO, with a proven track record of delivering measurable results
  • Strong expertise in local SEO and GMB optimisation
  • Experience working in time-sensitive service industries (e.g. emergency response, trades, healthcare)
  • Demonstrated success managing SEO for multiple brands or companies
  • Willingness to work full-time from our Varsity Lakes (Gold Coast) office — this is not a remote or hybrid role

Desirable

  • Knowledge of flood remediation or related service industries
  • Experience with call tracking tools such as CallRail
