The Sands Torquay seeks a Digital Marketing Specialist to lead our digital strategy and content creation across our six pillars—Golf, Accommodation, Conference & Events, Weddings, Dining, and Health Club. This role blends marketing strategy with hands-on creativity: developing campaigns, managing digital platforms, and producing high-quality web and graphic assets that strengthen our brand identity.

The successful candidate will collaborate with management and department leads to deliver innovative campaigns that engage members, attract guests, and grow revenue.

Key Responsibilities


• Digital Strategy: Plan and execute multi-channel campaigns (email, web, social, paid media) to drive engagement across all business pillars.


• Web Design & Management: Maintain, update, and enhance our Wix website to ensure mobile optimisation, SEO, and a seamless user experience.


• Graphic Design: Produce compelling digital and print assets — from golf promotions and accommodation packages to conference brochures, wedding collateral, dining menus, and health club offers.


• Content Creation: Capture and create photography, videography, and digital storytelling to showcase our experiences.


• Social Media: Manage and grow The Sands Torquay's online community with tailored campaigns and engaging content.


• Collaboration: Work with the Sales & Marketing Manager, Golf Operations, Food & Beverage, and Events teams to bring creative briefs to life.


• Reporting & Analytics: Track performance using Google Analytics and social insights, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications & Skills


• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, or related field.


• 2–4 years of digital marketing experience, ideally in sport, hospitality, or lifestyle sectors.


• Strong skills in graphic design (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar).


• Experience managing and editing websites (Wix or similar CMS).


• Proficiency in social media strategy and community management.


• Knowledge of SEO/SEM, Google Analytics, and paid media.


• Exceptional organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.


• Creative flair with a strong portfolio showcasing both marketing campaigns and design work.
