Role Description

This is a part-time/contract on-site role as a Trainer Assessor teaching Diploma of ICT at iProgress Academy, located in Southport, QLD. The ICT Trainer Assessor will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) courses. Key tasks include creating lesson plans, conducting classroom-based training sessions, assessing student performance, providing feedback and classroom management. Collaboration with other teachers and staying updated with industry trends is also expected.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent)
  • MUST HOLD Diploma-level (or higher) qualification in Information Technology
  • Ideally, a leadership/management qualification or experience beneficial (but not essential)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience delivering/assessing VET ICT courses (or relevant industry / training experience)
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of online/blended delivery methods and LMS (Learning Management Systems) preferred
  • Knowledge of ASQA & CRICOS compliance obligations
  • Working With Children Check (WWCC) / clear background & police check
  • Leadership & Management qualification greatly beneficial but not required
