Trainer/Assessor – Contract Position for a RTO as a mine site Trainer/Assessor.

About the Role:

Join our team as a Workplace Trainer and Assessor delivering accredited training and site authorisations at coal mines across Central Queensland. We are seeking highly motivated professionals with a passion for safety and education to support industry compliance and skills development in mining work environments.

7/7 Roster Dayshift only.

Fantastic day rates and travel rates included.

Drive in Drive out *Only*

Mining Vehicle provided onsite.

Day rate is $900 p/day (with possible increase after probabtion period). + $600 p/swing for driving allowance.

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful, you must possess:

• TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or TAE40122).

• Able to obtain a Drug and Alcohol test

• Relevant RII and/or High-Risk Work Licenses (HRWL) for:

- Forklift

- Elevated Work Platform (EWP)

- Dogging / Transfer Loads

- Basic Rigging

- Non-Slew Crane

• RIIWHS202E (Confined Space).

• RIIWHS204E (Working at Heights). 

Copies of your certificates, and/or willing to obtain the remaining certificates. 

Bonus: Standard 11, Coal Board Medical, Current Glencore Generic Induction. 

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Facilitate training and conduct assessments for accredited competencies.

• Conduct Verification of Competency onsite

• Deliver site-specific authorizations aligned with coal mine safety standards.

• Ensure compliance with RTO and industry guidelines during training delivery.

• Maintain professional relationships with site teams to support learner success.
