Job Titles and Responsibilities

ROLE 1: Refrigeration Systems Trainer and Assessor

ROLE 2: Instrumenation and Control Trainer and Assessor

  • Skills to deliver one of the main courses above, plus a minimum of 1 other course we offer
  • Deliver effective training sessions
  • Assess students understanding and competence
  • Stay current with industry standards and technological advancements
  • Maintain training equipment and materials
  • Provide support and troubleshooting advice

The Role

  • Deliver high-quality training and assessment
  • Utilise online LMS system for theory material assessment
  • Provide hands-on simulated work experience
  • Offer constructive feedback to improve students' skills and employability

Training Areas

  • Refrigeration (Cert II & III)
  • Instrumentation (Cert III IC and Cert IV Instro)
  • Other courses: Solar Design & Installation & Solar Battery, QTP, QBP, Restricted Electrical, LV Testing to AS3017, High Voltage, EEHA, see our website for all our course offerings.

About You

We are looking for someone that can deliver 1 of the above roles + another course as a minimum offered by Volt Edge

  • Ability to deliver courses in Refrigeration to a Cert III Level or Instrumentation – Cert III IC and Cert IV Instro.
  • Experience in delivering multiple courses offered by Volt Edge
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive training persona
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 / TAE40122) or higher qualification in Adult & Vocational Education
  • Advanced English written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of online learning initiatives and IT skills
  • Willingness to travel statewide and interstate
