About Us

We are a retail store located in the bustling Brisbane CBD, right at the base of the 1 William St Queensland Government Building. Our store offers a variety of fresh grab & go food options including sandwiches, hot meals, cakes, pastries, and snacks, alongside a range of grocery and convenience items. With the upcoming opening of the Star Casino and nearby apartments, we are anticipating significant growth in the coming few months.

The Role

A casual/part-time position offering 15-25 hours per week.

As a sales assistant, you will:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to our customers. We mainly deal with regular customers, so customer experience and building relationships is a top priority.
  • Organize and stock inventory from over 40 suppliers.
  • Maintain FIFO (First In, First Out) and stock rotation standards.
  • Ensure shelves are stocked and tidy.
  • Stock drinks in the cool room.
  • Perform daily date checks and apply markdowns on products.
  • Independently close the store when working the closing shift.
  • Ensure adherence to safety and cleanliness standards in the store.

About you

  • Aged 18+
  • Previous experience in retail (experience in grocery, convenience, or fast-food is desirable).
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proficient in handling cash accurately.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
