Sandy Bay, Tasmania, Australia Mayfair Veterinary Clinic Full time $60,000 - $90,000 per year

Senior Veterinary Nurse – Mayfair Veterinary Clinic

Are you a veterinary nurse who is passionate about tailored patient care and building meaningful relationships with pets and their families? We are a privately owned small animal and exotics clinic in the heart of Hobart looking for an experienced veterinary nurse who is interested in stepping into a senior role once you settle into the team.

This position is ideal for a nurse who is confident in their clinical skills, enjoys mentoring others, and has an interest in contributing to the smooth running of a busy practice. Previous management or team leadership experience will be highly regarded, but most importantly we are looking for someone who shares our values of kindness, respect, and teamwork.

We have a loyal, proactive client base and work with a wide variety of species — dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, and mice. This means no two days are ever the same, and there are always new challenges and opportunities to learn. If you don't have extensive exotic experience, we are happy to provide training and support.

At Mayfair, we are committed to creating a positive and supportive workplace culture. We do not tolerate abusive clients and ensure that every member of our team feels valued, respected, and empowered.
