As a small, close-knit clinic in a beautiful coastal town, we need someone who can roll up their sleeves and jump in as a nurse when needed, all while leading the team with compassion, clarity, and purpose. We are looking for a dynamic Practice Manager to join our family, help lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our small animal practice. In this role, you will be pivotal in driving clinic growth, providing high quality patient care, enhancing client satisfaction, and fostering a positive workplace culture.

**The Clinic**:

- We operate with a dedicated team of 2 veterinarians and 4 nurses each day
- Clinic hours: 8:00am - 5:30pm, Monday to Friday (no weekends)
- No afterhours or on-call work - enjoy your evenings and weekends
- We use EzyVet as our Practice Management Software
- Equipped with IDEXX in-house pathology for efficient diagnostics
- We are a small animal general practice, offering a range of services including in-house orthopaedic procedures

**The Role**:

- Oversee daily clinic operations, including team management, scheduling, and inventory control.
- Assist lead veterinarians in managing financial aspects of the clinic, including rostering, accounts, and reporting.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and client care.
- Lead, mentor, and support our veterinary and support staff.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and maintain high standards of care.
- Handle client inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and empathy.
- Lead by example - support and guide our team while actively working on the clinic floor.

**About You**:

- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent experience).
- Confident juggling both clinical and administrative responsibilities (with support).
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong people skills - supportive, clear communicator.
- A genuine passion for animal care and client service.
- Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably within the veterinary industry is a highly desirable.
- Proactive, and driven to help a small team thrive.
