Located in the heart of Neutral Bay, our team pride themselves on practising gold standard veterinary medicine and patient care. We provide personable & professional customer service to our long-standing loyal clients.

Our clinic is purpose-built with an IDEXX in-house laboratory, digital X-rays, dental X-rays, ultrasound machine and orthopaedic surgery. We provide a supportive work environment, training where required, in-house CPD and a positive work-life balance as high priorities.

**The role**

The Practice Manager supports and leads our team of Veterinary Surgeons, Veterinary Nurses and Receptionists. Both the Practice Manager and Hospital Director work together to drive the clinic forward and execute strategies to provide excellent patient care, a positive team culture and a successful business. The main duties required of the job are but not limited to:

- General administrative work to include managing the clinic schedule (PIMS Rx works), invoice processing, managing client accounts
- Daily running of the business
- Recruitment of veterinary surgeons, vet nurses, trainee nurses and receptionists
- Supporting and training veterinary nurses alongside the Head Nurse
- Assisting with marketing and social media
- Rostering, managing staff leave and monitoring clinic labour
- Monitoring financial reports and reviewing monthly P&Ls with the Regional Manager
- Responsible for stock control and monitoring COGs
- Order and maintenance of equipment
- Arrange and conduct staff meetings

You will be supportive of a positive team culture and provide staff with a great work-life balance by managing a fair roster and manageable daily clinic schedule. You will be enthusiastic and encouraging of yourself and others towards in-house CPD and participating in tasks and activities provided by the Regional Manager. The ability to be adaptable and to help guide others through change is important. Efficiency, time-management and organisational skills are paramount and the ability to prioritise your tasks and help & support your team is necessary.

**Practice Hours**

Monday to Friday 8am - 6pm
Saturday 9am - 2pm
Closed Sundays and Public Holidays
